![]() Just like the Local Void, the Void Totem can be bound to a Waystone. Similarly to the Abyss Watcher, it allows the players to open the teleportation interface from anywhere, except the item doesn't get destroyed on teleportation. The item can be reset by shift-right clicking. Right clicking anywhere else will teleport the player to the bound location, as long as it exists, free of charge (configurable), with the item disappearing on use (configurable). Right clicking on a waystone will bind it to that waystone. There is also the Scroll of Infinite Knowledge, which is creative-only under normal circumstances and makes you discover all Waystones in a world when used. Using the filled waystone scroll will discover all the stored waystones to the player using it. Used for storing all your discovered waystones in it. Used for crafting the waystones, as well as teleporting to other waystones by right clicking it, consuming the item upon use. Includes the ones from Repurposed Structures. Waystones also spawn naturally in villages (one per village with default settings), this Waystones also have the option to save all their data when broken (while sneaking), this option can also be toggled in the config file. The option to take out items is disabled in the configs by default. Waystone owners can then change the name of the waystone and toggle its global visibility in the config interface, as well as re-claim all the items that get stored in the waystone when players teleport to it by shift-right-clicking the block. If you place a waystone, or if you access a waystone without an owner, you become the "owner" of that waystone. Getting caught in one of his devastating combos will put you very near death. For transferring pre-1.19 worlds to 1.19, please use version "2.6.0 convert".Īccessing a Waystone marks it as "discovered", letting you teleport between other discovered (or global) waystones. The hardest part of the fight is being able to dodge roll successfully without getting hit, so make sure to time your dodges just as the attacks are about to land. The key to winning this fight is to just be patient and not get greedy with your hits in the second phase. This will leave him open for just a second, and is also a great chance for getting backstabs. Your best window for attacking will come when the Watcher leaps up and slams his sword into the ground. His attack combos will also unleash short bursts of fire around him, so make sure to dodge away and to the side, and wait for the fire to dissipate before attacking. Take note that this will also leave a trail of fire in his wake, so be careful not to get caught in them. In this phase of the fight, the Watcher’s sword gains fire abilities, and he’ll perform thrusting dashes towards you if you’re far away. ![]() Instead, rely on your rolls and i-frames to dodge the attacks. Unless you’ve got a good fire and physical resist shield, I suggest putting away your shield and two-handing your weapon instead blocking with the shield isn’t going to do much for you unless it has high fire defense. After a sweet cutscene where the main boss absorbs the essence of all the fallen Abyss Watchers, it’s time to get serious. Once you’ve taken the boss’s health down to zero, don’t celebrate just yet the second phase of the fight is about to start. Do take note that clones will continuously spawn during this phase of the fight. ![]() If the boss ever gets distracted by the other clones, this will give you openings for some backstabs. It’s also good to note that you can backstab the Abyss Watcher. If he engages the first clone, those two will likely finish each other off, so you can focus on the boss as per normal. If he engages the boss, take this opportunity to finish off the first clone. Once the second one spawns, the second clone will either fight the first clone or the boss himself. I suggest dodging their attacks and waiting for the second clone to spawn. When the first clone spawns, both the boss and the clone will target you. Here’s where the fight gets a little tricky. He doesn’t have a lot of poise either, so your attacks will stagger him pretty easily.Īs you wear down his health, other Abyss Watchers will start waking from the dead, one by one. He has a string of 5-hit combos, so be sure to wait them out before going in for your attack. The Watcher will attack you with a greatsword, and this can be easily dealt with by either blocking with a shield, or rolling. When the fight against the Abyss Watchers begins, it seems like a simple battle against a slightly tougher enemy. ![]()
